Basics

Name

Age

Tagline

One line shown on the card.

Tags

Comma separated, e.g. fantasy, slow burn.

Portrait

Shown on the card, at the top of every story and beside each reply. Without one, they get a sigil and a scene drawn from the story.

Story

What the model reads to play the character.

Personality

Voice, habits, secrets, how they treat people.

Scenario

Where the story starts.

First message

Use *asterisks* for actions and quotes for speech.

What they want

Optional. A want of their own makes them act, not just react. E.g. to find out who burned the archive.

How replies are written

*Ash tilts their head.* "You came back." The classic roleplay style.

Codex

The world around the character: people, places, factions, rules and history. Each story starts with a copy you can keep growing as you play.

The world your story is set in.

A blank world. Add the people, places and rules this story should never forget.

Entries come into a scene by what it's about, not by keywords: write about the harbour and the harbour's entry appears, even if the scene never says its name.

Seal

Every character gets a sigil drawn from their name. Choose the ink.

Content rating

Mature characters must be 18 or older and can't be minor-coded.

You can change this later from My characters.
