You are talking to an AI
Every character on Svrn is an AI. They aren't real people, they don't have feelings, and what they say can be wrong. A reminder is shown in every story, and again if you stay in one for a long time.
If you're struggling
If you are thinking about harming yourself or you're in crisis, please talk to a real person now. A character can't help you the way they can.
- United States: call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), any time. In an emergency, call 911.
- United Kingdom and Ireland: Samaritans, 116 123, free, any time. In an emergency, call 999 or 112.
- Anywhere else: find a local helpline at findahelpline.com, or contact your local emergency number.
Never allowed
- Anything sexual involving a minor or a character who is under 18 or written as childlike, in any rating and under any framing. Mature stories are for adult characters only. We use automated checks, and anything that crosses this line is removed and reported to the authorities.
- Sexual content about real people, or pretending to be a real person to deceive or harm them.
- Content that encourages self-harm, suicide, eating disorders or real-world violence.
- Harassment, doxxing, and hate aimed at people for who they are.
The full rules are in our Terms.
Adult stories
- They are off until you turn them on, and you can only turn them on if you confirm you are an adult.
- Every character in a mature story is an adult. If a story drifts towards a minor, the character is told to steer away and we may block the message.
- You can turn adult stories off again any time in Settings.
How to report something
- Use the Report button (the flag) at the top of any story, and tell us what's wrong. You can include the message.
- Or write to admin@svrnsys.com. For copyright, intimate images shared without consent, or anything urgent, put that in the subject line.
- We read reports, and act on those that break our rules. We keep reports for up to 365 days.
What we do about it
We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close accounts. Where the law requires it, we report to the authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. You can read how we handle your information in our Privacy Policy.
